Techritory 2025: A successful brand transition with international media impact
Techritory is a leading forum for digital transformation and connectivity, held annually in Riga since 2018. Fast forward seven years, it has steadily grown into an international platform and ecosystem, bringing together more than 2,000 participants from 63 countries.

Truesix has supported Techritory since 2019, and over the years the forum has become especially close to our hearts. Starting from 2025, Techritory dropped the “5G” from its widely recognised “5G Techritory” brand. Our task was to support this transition and maximize international media exposure for the new, thematically expanded Techritory ecosystem.
Challenge
For seven years, 5G Techritory had built a strong reputation as a leading connectivity forum, bringing together stakeholders from the telecommunications industry, policymaking, and academia. As the event entered a new phase with a broader thematic scope, our task was to sustain – and increase – media interest without creating the impression that the forum had lost its core focus. Equally important was preserving the loyalty of its participants and maintaining the strong media attention it had built over the years.
Solution
Drawing on years of experience working with international media for leading technology events, we have developed a targeted approach to engaging journalists whose focus aligns closely with the event’s theme. This includes preparing individual invitations, tailoring journalist programmes, and managing a travel budget for the most relevant media representatives.
This year, international media representatives joined us from 12 outlets: Baltic Defence Weekly, Data Center Dynamics, Telko.IN, LeMagIT, Mobile Europe, El Español, Mer et Marine, EE Times, Port Technology, Policy Tracker, and Forbes.
In true Truesix fashion, we made sure our guest journalists felt genuinely welcomed – offering carefully matched interview opportunities and hosting a dedicated media dinner.
The media experience began even before the Techritory main event, with a media tour to the Baltic Container Terminal located within the Freeport of Riga, featuring a live demonstration of maritime digital technologies.
The showcase highlighted Latvian-developed technologies, including autonomous sea, air, and ground drones, advanced data transmission platforms, and secure 5G integration. Participants included LMT Group, the Freeport of Riga Authority, LVR Flote, and technology partners SUBmerge Baltic, Beyron, Spark Technologies, RTU, and Baltic Container Terminal.
After the demonstration, we prepared and sent out a press release to relevant media outlets across Europe.
Results
The media tour earned extensive coverage, including articles from all of the media participating in the tour: El Español, Data Center Dynamics, Telko.IN, Mer et Marine, Port Technology International.

Other publications resulted from the press release we disseminated about the maritime demonstration event, including: Digital Ship, Hellenic Shipping News, and Port Strategy.

Throughout the forum days, we introduced journalists to companies in the Expo Zone and supported them with on-site interview opportunities, including handling ad hoc requests. This approach resulted in several high-level interviews in media outlets like El Español (interview with Tilde CEO), EE Times (several video interviews), and Port Technology International (interview with LVR Flote).

To sum up, our work for Techritory 2025 resulted in more than 80 international media publications, with 29 coming from accredited media representatives. Some of those we didn’t yet mention:

Event PR is like a freight train: getting it moving can take time, but with each edition it gathers pace. By that measure, Techritory is now moving at full speed, reaching new media milestones year after year.
As an agency, we are proud to support events like Techritory, which help bring international attention to the impressive technology and innovation being developed in Latvia.
